BxOxTxC is back…

Right then, it’s been quite a while now but BxOxTxC is back. It was a long and happy journey home, but we’re back now and we’ve got plans. It’s something that’s been brewing in the back of my mind for a while and it seems like the time to try and make it happen.

We are currently in the process of starting up a small company producing screen printed garments featuring the artwork of various talented British individuals, be they illustrators, graphic designers, painters, or artists of any kind. I’m currently working on the logo and contacting various shops around the country to gauge the level of interest, but things are, touch wood, looking quite positive at the moment.

Basically, I will be using the blog to chart our progress as we battle to get the project on it’s feet. We’ve got artists interested, we’ve got a couple of shops interested, we’ve got a work space. Unfortunately, however, we are flat broke and the work space looks like this:

the shedSo, as you can see, things are far from up and running yet. I’ll keep you all posted on our progress as we go, step one being the hasty repair of the shed (it pours water when it rains. which it does. often.), and the completion of our business plan (necessary in order to get a loan). Expect a lot more posts in the coming weeks.

On a final note, I’d just like to thank all the members of BxOxTxC, all my friends and family, and all the people who have helped us out so far. Without your support, motivation, backing, and knowledge we wouldn’t have the first idea how to even begin this project. Thanks for all your help so far, and thanks in advance for all the advice I’ll be asking you for in the coming months and years. “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know. And what they know about what you don’t.” I’m glad I know you.

Right then, lets give it a punt…
