Exit through the record shop- Oh My Gosh Records, Mansfield road, Nottingham, June 11th 2010

A while back, I was asked by Kid30  to be part of an exhibition of  “Art on vinyl” at Oh My Gosh records in Nottingham. Of course I said yes! Here’s a picture of what i did, and more importantly there are links to some decent reportage of the event below. Please have a look, and bear in mind that the exhibition is still on for a few days so get down there and have a look. All the art is affordable (i.e. around £20) with some as low as a quid! So make sure you take your wallets with you! These people deserve your support, as i’m sure you will agree when you click the links and have a look for yourselves.

Some of the people involved include- James huyton, Simeon – bantum clothing, Tim – Fourmost Films, Ricki Marr, Simon Mitchell, Dregs, Kaption one, Kid30, Billy, Ging, Rubes, Detail, Mark Evans, Hero, lazy one and many, many more.

Unfortunately, due to my temporary relocation to the wilds of Scotland, I was unable to attend the opening night and take pictures of my own. Click the links below for some decent photos and write ups.

Live illustration at the New Refectory gallery in Nottingham, Dec 5th…

My good friend Adam Gray, who’s name seems impossible to spell correctly when making flyers, will be drawing at the New refectory this Saturday. Not just him, either, there will be a lot of outstanding artists coming down too. Look:

Told you.

Live Art, D.J.s, food and drink. What better way to kick off the festive season?

New shirts coming soon…

Firstly, a massive thank you to all the people who bought our first load of shirts! Much obliged to all of you. Your support is greatly appreciated and, lo-and-behold, we made our money back! No profit, of course, but to celebrate we are doing another twenty in grey. Not only that, but the first set of girls tops will be available soon too featuring artwork by the talented Mr. Adam “whispering” Gray. If you’ve not seen the stuff he does, keep your eyes peeled for an interview and some pictures here soon. Alternatively, you might just bump into him wandering around Nottingham with a mischievous glint in his eye, or see him drawing bears on the wall of your local pub.

I’ll keep you posted and let you know when the shirts are ready, but if you are interested in ordering one now, just drop me a line. bxoxtxc@gmail.com

new stuff for your back.

Bangers and Fash, Brownes, Nottingham, last monday…

Cheers to those involved for inviting me!

Live in Black and White at the Golden Fleece, Nottingham…

Here’s a few pictures of what went on at the Golden fleece in Notts on Sunday just gone. My first real punt at taking part in a live drawing night, and things didn’t go too badly. I’ve got a hell of a long way to go yet though!

Dedicated to Honeystyle and Wahagwaan and all who frequent them. Thanks for all the memories!
